Per Scholas is a national nonprofit that provides tuition-free technology and professional training to more than 10,000 underemployed individuals. The training helps build lasting, life-changing skills and careers in technology, while also driving positive social change in communities.
Using existing brand elements, Per Scholas wanted to refresh their look with a renewed Brand Book. A key shift included reorganizing the primary and secondary color palettes, creating a lighter, brighter overall impression. Another influential change was maximizing the brand fonts to feel more current with size, scale and capitalization. Lastly, new graphic devices were developed that could be applied to future materials. The annual report below was designed prior to the refreshed brand, but is a good example of the visual evolution.
